An homage to our Pacific Northwest roots, Portlandia soap gnomes are crafted from local northwest organic Porter beer and organic, fair-trade, shade-grown coffee grounds. Hops from within the ale contain skin softening amino acids, helping to soothe and restore skin. Ingredients: coconut oil, RHOC palm oil, safflower seed oil, vegetable glycerin, shea butter, oatmeal, purified water, sodium hydroxide*, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, oat protein, distilled organic porter beer, organic coffee grounds, vanilla, sandalwood, palo sano and patchouli essential oils

*Please note that when soap is made by natural methods, you MUST use sodium hydroxide; there's really no other way to make soap. During the saponification process (reaction with oils to create soap), the sodium hydroxide is dissolved; and is no longer found in soap bars. However, in the essence of transparency, we list it as an ingredient as it is part of the process.
